Dear Friends,   There may be no better place to be in the summer than Michigan. After so many cold gray months, it is time to celebrate blue, sunny and warm. Savor the gifts of this season. We all look forward to time away during the summer months. Day trips, or weekend excursions or longer vacations provide time for rest and relaxation. In the midst of those times away, God is at work refreshing and recreating us. What a blessing it is to remember this!!!!!  Where ever we spend our time, God is there. In the midst of your summer journeying, take time to thank God for the beauty of creation. Thank God for the blessing of vacation time. Steward the gift of time, steward the earth, steward your life.   O God, in the course of this busy life, give us times of refreshment and peace and grant that we may so use our leisure to rebuild our bodies and renew our minds, that our spirits may be opened to the goodness of your creation.  Through Jesus Christ our Lord.  Amen.
